Victorian Pitch Pine Chest of Drawers

This antique chest of drawers dates from the late nineteenth century. It is constructed from what we believe to be solid pitch pine and is very heavy. The chest consists of two small drawers over three wo long drawers. The chest retains replacement brass handles (which have been fitted upside down) and locks, but please note that no keys are present. The chest is supported on turned a plinth base.
Condition: Overall this chest would benefit from some restoration work. The woodwork is grubby, knocked and worn, and there are some areas of damage and wood loss. The drawer runners would benefit from some attention. There is some heavy scuffing and marking to the top. There are some signs of old woodworm - this is not active but has been retreated as a precaution.
The approx measurements are as follows:
107cm high, 103cm wide, 53.5cm deep (to maximums). Further images are available. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any queries. Viewing is welcome, but please contact us before travelling as we are only open by appointment.
We can arrange delivery of both smaller items and furniture - please contact us for details and a quote. Customers are also welcome to use their own couriers if preferred.
Payment can be made by PayPal, bank transfer, cheque [UK only], and cash on collection.
