Victorian Rifle Officers sword by Firmin
Victorian Rifle Officers sword in scabbard. Gothic hilt with copper wire bound shagreen grip. Curved, single edged blade marked as by Firmin & Son, 153 Strand & 13 Conduit St. Acid etched blade marked with 'Rifles', 'VR' and crown. Blade retains nearly all of its original polish. Light rust staining to the exterior of the sword overall. Slight damage to shagreen grip and a regimental name appears to have been removed from cartouche on blade.
Approximately 100cm overall and blade 83cm.
