A good sized late Victorian solid oak wall barometer having a circular carved oak twisted rope case and a a brass bezel with a thick bevel edged glass. The dial is made of white porcelain with black Gothic lettering and numbers in great condition. Made and retailed P.W.Nix of Northampton England. Patent reference: No.16538 circa 1880
