An elegant early Victorian balloon back chair in rosewood. It has a kidney shaped balloon back and stands on sabre legs to the rear and turned and reeded legs to the front . The slip in seat has been newly reupholstered in a brunt orange hessian fabric. Very solid and sturdy with good original patina and figuring to the rosewood, it would make a fantastic desk chair.
