Victorian Scroll-Shaped Garden Bench
This large antique garden looks to date from the second half of the nineteenth century. It has wrought iron scrolled supports and wooden slats. It has a lovely shape. The bench has been overpainted at some point.
Condition: Overall in usuable condition, but has the wear and grubbiness you might expect from a piece of garden antique furniture that has been outside for many years. The paintwork is grubby and flaking and the metal parts have some rusting and corrosion. The wooden slats are rotting in places and would benefit from attention or replacement, although the bench at present is still solid and usuable.
The approx measurements are as follows:
