Victorian Stained Leaded Glass Brass Lantern Hall

Antique Victorian stained leaded glass brass hanging lantern hall chandelier.
The lantern probably dates from Victorian times and was designed originally to be used with an oil lamp. It has later been wired for electricity, works and has modern wiring (including an earth to both lampholder and lantern). The lantern takes the large bayonet bulb fitting (B22).
Fantastically old looking, with lovely patinated brass.
There is a door in one side which would originally have been used to service / light an oil lamp.
Very ornate and would look great in the right location.
Max. Overall dimensions 300mmW x 300mmD x 1500mmH (inc. chain, which could be shortened).
The fitting is 760mm high.
Historic knocks, marks, historic distortion, repairs and alterations. The stained glass panels are very old and quite fragile. Some of the glass pieces have been replaced (not necessarily with the correct colour or pattern). The chains are later replacements. We are supplying the lantern with a large 4" hook to hang the chain from the ceiling with. Note that the lantern does not have a ceiling rose, but can be connected to a standard modern fitting installed adjacent or near to the hook.
Please note the following important precautions when dealing with chandeliers
Because of the size and weight it will be necessary for at least two people to fix it to the ceiling.
Make sure that the ceiling and fixing are adequate to support the weight of the chandelier.
Check that no parts of the chandelier have worked loose in transit. If necessary tighten, but take care not to over tighten.
This chandelier must be installed by a competent Person (Building Regulations part P approved) and the lighting circuit is to be tested before and after installation.
Re-test the chandelier before connection to a mains supply (in case any wires have been disturbed or chaffed in transit).
