Victorian Walnut Parlour Chair


Circa 1870, Victorian walnut parlour chair, made in Edinburgh with makers name stamped on the underside ‘Mackenzie and Cosbie Edinburgh, design number 397’. Wonderful quality chair carved from solid walnut with stylish top rail with carved flowers, the uprights with carved swags on the sides, a bow fronted frieze, standing on carved, spiralling and tapering legs. Good example of a mid Victorian chair.
