Victorian Walnut Twin Pedestal Desk Writing Table


Antique quality Victorian (C1900) walnut twin pedestal desk, writing or dressing table.
Later patinated (with wear and marks) leather top.
Period castors (some wear as you would expect).
This is a lovely piece, that is full of age, charm and character.
Solid, heavy and with no loose joints....a very rare find.
No woodworm.
Please note that this piece splits into 3 parts for transport.
The drawers slide freely (some internal staining as one would expect).
Would look great in the right location!
Overall maximum dimensions 111cmW x 54cmD x 73cmH (59cmH x 46cmW knee hole).
Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, wear, imperfections, repairs and alterations, as is always the way and to be expected with genuine antique furniture. There is an historic crack in the bottom right drawer front (now glued, stable and strong).
Please note that this item is large and heavy. Please make sure before buying that it will fit in and can be maneuvered into the room that it is intended for. The customer will need to provide a strong able bodied person for our driver to assist with carrying.
