Victorian Welsh Pine Box Settle Pew Bench Sgiw
A beautiful mid 19th Century Welsh pine Box Settle of elegant form and desirable proportions.
In exceptional original condition with lovely colour and wonderful grain and only one small area of historic wear to the seat corner to mention. Having a gently sloping back and comfortable seat height. The seat opening at both ends into a box base offering superb storage.
A much sought after piece of Welsh country antique furniture this settle is both strong and stable and suitable for daily use.
We are well known for the quality of the settles we sell, they are highly practical items and look as well in a hall or kitchen as they do in a living room or parlor. We often sell them to people looking for attractive storage solutions as well as seating and they are most commonly used for storing itmes such as wellingtons and walking boots, kindling and fires starting items, horse riding tack, painting and decorating and odd job items that may freeze or perish if left in an outbuilding.
