Vintage 1950’s/60’s G-Plan 7-Draw Tallboy by E Gomme %%alt5%% %%alt6%%
This is a great looking tall chest of seven drawers or Tallboy with curved brass handles designed by E Gomme for G-Plan in the late 1950s to early 60s, using Tola wood (African mahogany) for the cabinet with the draw fronts finished in a white lacquer style finish and the ebonised frame base/ legs with brass top caps and adjustable feet.

This one is presented in very clean vintage condition – all the drawers are clean and running fine. The gold coloured brass handles are lightly age tarnished however all fine and in place. The ebonised base frame and legs are fine with no wobbles. The Tola wood is of an even colour and not sun faded. The white finished draw front has minimal to barely there wear to the fronts with E- Gomme stamp to the inside of the top drawer.

A stylish piece of British Mid Century furniture which has good practical storage and is as likely to look good in a bedroom as well as in a living room or office. Priced to sell the final buyer will not be disappointed.
