This is a very attractive little vintage powder compact, c. 1920-25, it is in superb condition, it is made of, ornate white metal, and is beautifully shaped, with a handle that swings from the centre hinges. The top is engine turned with a triangular shaped vacant cartouche for engraving - it measures c. 2.1/4" inch (5.4cm) diameter. All clasps and hinges are perfect, opening to reveal a high polish steel mirror to the top, with a space for rouge - the powder well is an interesting powder dispensing mechanism which is turning true - it is absolutely gorgeous, showing only minor signs (internally) of having been pre-loved - but for its age is excellent - sadly there are no hallmarks, but it is a fine piece, in beautiful condition, this little beauty will certainly not disappoint!
