Vintage Rush Seat Chapel Chairs

These fantastic Vintage Rush Seat Chapel Chairs are a fantastic option for many pubs, cafes and restaurants thanks to their traditional chapel chair design and rustic charm. The back of the chair demonstrates a wonderful pocket which would have previously been used to hold bibles and hymns. Give the pocket a new lease of life and use them as a place to store menus for your customers.
Typically used on old church, museum and theatre chairs, the rush seat is certainly a striking detail of the chair. Utilise them as dining chairs, they rush seats provide extra comfort and just add something different to a typical standard chapel chair.
These chair frames are made from durable beech and are extremely sturdy. The beautiful chairs were crafted between the 1920s and 1930s and are in excellent condition.
As the chairs are nearly 100 years old, you can appreciate that they will show signs of wear and tear which we feel only adds to the vintage character of the item.
The price shown is for one chapel chair only.
