Vintage Stratton foil & enamel ship / boat compacts. This is a gorgeous & highly collectible Stratton "Scone" powder compact showing R M S Pretoria castle. The background is metallic gold tin foil and set atop this is the most wonderful enamel scene showing this magnificent ship at sea. There is great attention to detail. All clasps & hinges work perfectly.The whole compact is in very good condition with the original mirror sticker & sifter in place. The mirror is excellent & the bezel is signed "STRATTON MADE IN ENGLAND". The inner lid is signed "Stratton". The base is decorated with a fine spiral.This vintage compact measures 3 inches & weighs 94.1 grams.
