Wadham, Bath Triple Fusee Bracket/Table Clock

A very impressive Victorian triple fusee bracket clock by George Wadham of Bath. A Victorian Gothic designed rosewood case of larger proportions with an arched pediment. Graduated relief carving to the base panel and side columns. The original carved wooden finials to the pediment. Side glass apertures showing the mechanism. A floral scrolled silvered engraved dial with a strike/silent lever to the top and blued steel hands.
A superbly engineered triple fusee mechanism striking the quarters on a rack of bells and the hours. The original pendulum transportation lock and crank winding key. Circa 1850.
George Wadham of Bath worked in Milsom Street and Bridge Street from 1846-1878.
