Elegant George II style dressing stool c.1930. Lovely honey coloured walnut frame with shaped apron and slim cabriole legs with carved detail and pad feet. Unusual needle work tapestry top with a bird, stood erect with its wings outstretched (rather like Liverpool’s famous Liver bird), within a decorative surround. Excellent condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
