Charming little mid 19th.c. stool with original woolwork seat c.1860. 18″ x 10½” webbed seat retaining the original woolwork tapestry cover featuring an illustration of a man dressed in a stalking hat, smock and high boots shooting a duck over a lake. With scrolling vine leaf border around the sides of the seat. Oak frame raised on four fine twist carved legs in solid walnut. Presented as found, good condition though the seat is a little sunken in the middle.
