Mug produced in 1959, designed by Robert Gooden, commemorating 200 years since Wedgwood's move to their Barlaston factory. Gooden was Professor of Silversmithing and Jewellery at the Royal College of Art and a key figure in the design of the Festival of Britain and the subsequent British post-war aesthetic.
