Technical Description
A Wedgwood Fairyland Lustre Bowl. The body is decorated in the Celestial Dragons pattern designed by Daisy Makeig-Jones which is decorated with gilt dragons on a mottled blue ground. Inside features four further gilt dragons of another form. The base is marked with the Wedgwood Portland vase maker's mark. The pattern number is Z4829.
Historical Relevance
Hand-made around the time the Council of the League of Nations met for the first time in London on the 11th of February 1920.
