A beautiful high quality North Wales Stick chair from the Snowdonia region dating from the mid 18th century.
It is constructed from quality oak throughout and is of good size with an elegant well proportioned look.
The comb slats are finished with nice scratch moulding on each edge.
The top face of the comb has nice detail, displaying double wedged tennons.
This chair retains all original features. Is strong and stable and is free from repair.
This piece is among the very best of Welsh chairs and is a unique, rare and important piece of antique furniture.
