Welsh High Back Oak Georgian Settle (c.1760)
This is a superb quality antique 5ft 6” north Wales high back oak George III settle (circa 1760 - 1780).

This is a superb quality antique North Welsh high back oak George III settle bench (Circa 1760 - 1780) believed to have originated from Bala, North Wales. The settle boasts down swept shaped oak arms, pegged construction, three solid oak rectangular panels and three original working drawers. The settle also features the original brass swan neck handles to the drawers and original pine lined drawer linings with hand dovetailed joints. The settle features the original polish and patination and thus the colour of this settle is superb.
This item would look superb in a variety of rooms from the hallway, dining room or kitchen. This item would certainly grace any home and a great investment as they are an extremely functional. So don't miss out your chance to own a lovely piece of antique furniture.
Condition Report
The item is in superb original condition and is commensurate with its age. There is a small burn mark to the middle drawer and there is an old repair to the top edge of the same drawer both of which are barely noticeable. There is also an old repair to the back of the right hand panel. Free of wood worm, solid in joint and ready to use. Considering the age of this item, the settle is in superb condition.

A 7 day “no quibble” return policy (from the date you receive the item) is available if you are not happy with this item. You will be given a refund excluding the delivery cost as long as the item is returned in the same condition. The buyer is not required to cover the cost of returning the item if the item is returned at the point of delivery. If the item is delivered and left with the customer, a return fee will apply (which is the same cost as the delivery fee). We only will collect returns using our own specialist furniture delivery company. We will not accept returns via a courier service (due to experience of damaged items in transit).
