A delightful piece of antique vernacular antique furniture from my home area- Anglesey. It was a pleasure to collect this totally original piece knowing it has remained in the same family for the last 200 years. This Welsh oak and mahogany cross banded housekeepers bookcase dresser cabinet has the more desirable solid oak panelled sides, a delightful shaped apron to the lower cupboard doors, an elongated central four leaf clover motif to each cupboard door with a half moon mahogany detail and original handles throughout. To the top are a pair of thirteen panel doors which open to reveal nice deep serpentine shaped shelves. Fabulous colour and condition. Circa 1820. Measures 85.5"h x 42"w x 20"d. ( top is 16"d)
