William Brownfield Majolica Leaping Fish Teapot

Lovely abstract design with tail fin kicked out to one side and a wave of water forming the handle. Pretty pastel colours of aqua blue, lilac and yellow green. Fully marked to the base and dated for 1878.
It measures 5" high, 7 1/2" long and 6" wide. Condition is very good, just some small frits to the edge of the lid and the right hand fin and a slight graze to the glaze on the spout. No restoration.
