William IV mahogany armoire wardrobe linen press
Antique quality tall William IV mahogany armoire wardrobe linen press.
This is a high quality piece dating from around 1830 which has the wow factor and has really magnificent proportions.
Recently restored to a high standard, with a good clean (recent) silk lining to the hanging compartment.
The drawers (ash lined) and doors open and close freely. We have a key for the door only.
Splits into three pieces for transport, although the centre section is quite large (168cm tall) and heavy.
No significant woodworm.
Would look amazing in the right location!
Overall maximum dimensions 139cmW x 68cmD x 228cmH (good sized hanging space 59cmW x 53cmD x 137cmH).
Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, wear, imperfections, repairs and alterations, as is always the way and to be expected with genuine antique furniture. Later hanging rail. There is a little minor veneer cracking, but all is stable and well glued (totally to be expected on a piece that is close to 200 years old).
Please note that this item is large and heavy. Please make sure before buying that it will fit in and can be maneuvered into the room that it is intended for. The customer will need to provide 1 strong able bodied persons for our driver to assist with carrying.
