A magnificent antique William IV open armchair or desk chair in mahogany dating from circa 1835. The oblong top rail over a carved horizontal splat, with scroll arms and newly recovered drop in seat. It stands on turned front legs and splayed back legs. Solid and sturdy and in good condition it would make a wonderful desk chair.

Good condition. Solid and sturdy. Wear and marks commensurate with age. Newly recovered over horsehair upholstery, clean and comfortable.
