Very handsome William IV marble top and rosewood bookcase or side cabinet c.1835. Original inch-thick white marble top over a two door glazed bookcase fitted with two adjustable shelves inside. Well figured rosewood veneers across the front, sides and plinth. Door fronts feature crisp carved foliate detail above the glazed panels and a fine turned column to the outer edge of each. Some minor wear and a couple of filled holes toward the rear corners of the marble. Otherwise excellent colour and condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops. Key supplied.
