An early and scarce example, with typical art nouveau form strap handles, the oblong planter is fully decorated to all sides with 10 large tubelined pomegranates and leaves in bright deep colours and very likely made for the Liberty & Co department store in Regent Street London.
Fully marked and impressed MOORCROFT BURSLEM with full green painted signature to base.
Condition: In excellent original condition and free from unsightly crazing, staining, chips or cracks, there is a insignificant glaze miss to the foot rim extreme edge mentioned for complete accuracy.
Marks: Impressed marks and model code with underglaze green monogram.
Size: 38cm length x16 cm width x 11cm height.
