Having carried out as much research as I can I believe that this wonderful study of a tiger originates from India and dates to the first quarter of the 20th Century.

It is in remarkably good condition with minimal wear to the paint. It is made from a very light weight wood. The paint colour is very muted, the modern ones are very brightly coloured which leads me to believe that this is circa 1920.
