Worcester Rare Mother & Child Variant Slop Bowl antique georgian 18th century %%alt5%% %%alt6%%
A Worcester porcelain slop bowl printed with the rare "three figure" version of the Mother & Child pattern, with a second woman holding a vase approaching the seated mother and her child. On the reverse is pattern "La Terre" with a young man kneeling on the ground offering a flowering plant in an urn to a young woman stood beside another. Shaded crescent. c.1775-1780.

It measures 14.7cm (5 3/4") wide and 7cm (2 3/4") high.

In very good condition: there is a small flat scuffed chip to the outside edge of the rim which only goes slightly beyond glaze level. No other damage, repair or restoration. Payment is accepted by bank transfer, card payments (via an online invoice, I'm afraid we cannot take payments over the telephone), Paypal and UK personal cheque.
