Fabulous Wilkinson sword worthy of further research but what has been done so far makes Great reading of a true hero ,HEB Newenham was born in Dublin and educated at Haylesbury school he went on to Sandhurst and joined the Royal Fusileers in 1886 serving in South Africa where he was wounded .He commanded the 2nd battalion at Gallipoli in April 1915 where he was severely wounded .On the first day of the landing Newenham was awarded the CB in 1916 for his leadership in that battle he lost his leg as a result of a wound .He died aged 68 after a long illness on 17th November 1934 with the rank of Brigadier-General . He was Mayor of Lymington from 1924 to 1927 . Wilkinson number 27525
