A World War II era, Swiss, Helvetia Military Pocket Watch.
The dial is in very good condition, it has the hours in Arabic numerals with a sub seconds dial at six o'clock. It is signed by the maker Helvetia and Swiss Made (see photo).
The base metal watch case is in excellent condition, but does have wear to the plating on the rear as can be expected. The case with the British M.O.D. broad arrow symbol and the issue number.
The Swiss made movement is in very good condition and working order. It is signed Helvetia, Swiss made and General Watch Co., Switzerland along with the calibre no. 32A. The watch is stem wound and set.
It measures approximately 51mm in diameter.
A lovely watch in good condition, it would make a great addition to any collection.
