Zebra Pattern John Rogers & Sons Dish C1820

Something for the collector of the rarer Regency period blue and white Staffordshire pottery an unusual John Rogers & Sons Zebra pattern blue and white dish.
This blue and white pearlware oblong dish is of a very unusual form with spiral molding at the corners. The dish is decorated in the lovely John Rogers and Sons Zebra pattern depicting a Chinese scene within a floral border containing a rider on a Zebra. The base of the dish is unmarked.
The dish is approximately 9 & 1/@ inches (24cm)long at its longest point (spiral corner to spiral corner) and is in a reasonably good antique condition although the dish does have a repair to one corner. Despite this repair the dish is very unusual and would make an exxcellent addition to a collection of rare Staffordshire ble and white pearlware.
