Description

A handsome carved oak framed mirror. The pediment carved with basket and acanthus leaves, above a rectangular mirror plate within fluted pilasters. The mirror plate is bevelled. A good quality mirror that would work well as a hall mirror, above a fireplace as an overmantle or even as a bathroom mirror. Although the frame is Edwardian, this piece proabbly didin’t start life as a mirror, probably being made into a mirror at a later date.

Good condition. Good colour and patina to the oak. Marks and scuffs commensurate with age. Mirror plate is new.
