Description

A wonderful late Regency gilt pier mirror. The concave breakfront pediment decorated with gilded balls, the frieze with applied foliage motifs. The rectangular bevelled mirror plate flanked by fluted column pilasters terminating in acanthus moulded capitals. The bevelled mirror is a replacemnet. The gilding has aged beautifully, a very attractive small mirror, that would add character and charm to any room.

Gesso, wood
Condition Report:
Marks and scuffs commensurate with age. Glass is a replacement, bevelled. Gilding missing in places but beautifully aged. Gilt balls missing to either side of the pediment. The top left section of the pediment has been replaced at some point.
