A charming small Edwardian mahogany dressing table stool dating from circa 1910. The drop in cane work seat sits on shaped rails and it stands on carved, turned tapering legs with pad feet. With label underneath for “Sopwith Ltd., Cabinet Makers & Upholsterers Newcastle-On-Tyne”. Solid and sturdy, ideal as a piano seat or dressing table stool.

Good colour and patina. Solid and sturdy, the cane work is in very good order appears fairly new. General wear and marks commensurate with age.
