A handsome antique Edwardian brass single bed by Maple & Co dating from circa 1890 complete with base. A really good quality all brass single bed, with square top rails and square vertical rails with shaped corner pieces and central arched design with turned collars. In a polished finish with some light tarnishing. It has drop in iron side rails and stands on its original ceramic casters. Suitable for standard single mattress. Makers label on foot bar which reads: “Maple & Co. London, Paris, Buenos Aires, By Royal Appointment”. Features a headboard, footboard and two side irons and sprung bed base. Does not come with a mattress.

Good condition. In a polished finish, slightly tarnished in places with some oxidisation and discolouration to the brass. Wear and marks commensurate with age. A few scuffs and scratches to the brass commensurate with age. Some wear and discolouration to the bed base.
