Description

A handsome antique Georgian mahogany cabinet/commode, of small proportions with fitted interior dating from circa 1830. It would have originally started life as a commode and has at some point been converted into a beautiful cabinet. In mahogany with 8 turned handles all standing on out-splayed bracket feet. The top is hinged and lifts up, the bottom is hinged and drops down. The interior is fitted for use as a music cupboard, a drinks cabinet or TV unit. The back is also hinged at the bottom to allow cables etc. to be passed through.

Mahogany veneer/ Pine
Condition Report:
Good colour and patina. Split to veneer front left. Small sections of veneer missing to corners. other wear and marks commensurate with age. It would have stated life as a commode and has been converted into a fitted cabinet.
