Description

A charming antique Edwardian tub chair in mahogany dating from circa 1905. In a richly figured dark mahogany with satinwood inlay to the back and extensive stringing to the legs, arms and front seat rail. The back comprises 3 splats the central splat featuring a pierced fretwork design. It has shaped supports to the arms and stands on slim square tapered legs. It has been recently reupholstered in a deep pink/red fabric.

Good condition. Reasonably solid and sturdy (slight movement). Wear and marks commensurate with age. Recently reupholstered.
