Description

A stylish vintage oak bedside cabinet dating from circa 1930s-1940s. The moulded rectangular top above a single frieze drawer over a single door cupboard and standing on shaped bracket feet. In a beautifully figured oak the door has a linen fold pattern to the front and it opens to reveal a single removable shelf to the interior. It has a small raised gallery to the back and lovely polished iron drop handles. The back is stamped with the “two cheese” marks the logo for the Utility Furniture Advisory Committee of 1942.
