Description

A stylish and unusual Arts and Crafts Late Victorian mahogany writing table or desk dating from circa 1900. The top features a green leatherette insert above a single drawer, supported by ‘C’ scroll supports next to a single leaded glazed cupboard door, on tapering legs and spade feet. The drawer locks and comes with a working key, the lock stamped VR. With makers label to underside of drawer for “T.G. Woof Ltd. Devonshire Street Sheffield”.
