Description

A magnificent antique Biedermeier single headboard dating from circa 1850. In beautifully richly figured mahogany, satin birch and burl wood veneers. standing on square feet with tapered columns and a panelled centre and arched top rail. May need raising in height, depending on requirements.

Condition Report:
Beautiful patina and good colour. Some small sections of veneer missing in places. Wear and marks commensurate with age. Holes to back where original side rails would have been. A few old worm holes to the feet. Originally part of a bedstead.
