Description

A magnificent antique Edwardian oak bureau dating from circa 1910. In beautifully figured quarter sawn oak with good colour and patina, it has 3 graduated drawers with carved handles and stands on carved feet united by a cross stretcher. The fall has a beautifully figured front with applied carvings and drops down on brass arms to reveal a writing surface and fitted interior with pigeon holes and three small drawers. The drawers and fall lock and it comes with a key. A good quality bureau, with beautifully figured quarter sawn oak with good colour and patina. A slightly smaller version is also available.
