Description

A charming pair of Arts & Crafts pitch pine single beds dating from circa 1920s/1930s. The headboards and footboards have triple indented panels, and feature exposed pegged joints and chamfered corners, the headboards with arched top rails. The beds are in beautifully figured solid and heavy pitch pine with good warm colour and patina. A stylish good quality pair of single beds they feature two headboards, two footboards and four side irons. (no base or mattress included).

Solid and sturdy with wear and marks commensurate with age. Some splits to the feet, panels a little loose. Some knots in the wood to footboard panels.
