Description

A magnificent full-size antique brass and copper inlaid Hoshiarpur table dating from circa 1900. The octagonal top is profusely inlaid with alternating copper and brass with corresponding inlay to the perimeter, the wood with beautiful patina. The folding octagonal base has intricate Jali fretwork panels and Moorish arches. It is a good size as a coffee table at around 61cm wide and 60cm high.

Condition Report:
Solid and sturdy, good original patina. General wear and marks commensurate with age. A few small pieces of copper/brass inlay missing in places as to be expected. An old mend to one of the Jali panels.
