Description

A magnificent antique late Victorian walnut revolving piano stool dating from circa 1870. This is a really good quality adjustable piano stool with a circular upholstered seat in a red brocade style fabric which raises up on a brass thread. It stands on three carved cabriole legs with central carved column. Stamped HB to the underside of one leg (Probably made by H Brooks).

Solid and sturdy, rises and falls smoothly. With original brass screw thread which works well. The upholstery is in good condition, newly recovered. An old well-executed mend to one leg where it meets the base (solid and sturdy).
