16th century oak and iron bound strong box,of small size.Original iron strap work reinforcements and ornate lock.
Large dovetailed construction with single plank top.
This chest has a good deep colour and fantastic patina to the wood and iron.
Overall in very good condition with a loss to the front right hand corner lid.
