Antique Hadden

Description

A lovely 17th century oak bible box.
With scratch carved border to the front and plain sides.
The box is solid but has a hard life ,made from thin timber cut with a pit saw.
In good original condition except for a later lock plate,signs of old worm and a few chips to the bottom corners and a hole to the back corner.
But a delicate surviour which ouses country life and charm.
Good colour with dry untouched back board and interior
