A fine antique English 18th century Georgian Old Sheffield Plate coffee pot dating to circa 1780

Of oval form the main body plain with beaded decoration throughout

Having a fruitwood handle with scrolling thumbpiece and a straight plain spout

The cover hinged with shaped and decorated bone finial

In good condition with minor scratches and a minor dent and wear and marks commensurate with age and use and little or no plate loss

This is a fine example being a plain and elegant design from the Golden period of Old Sheffield Plate manufacture
