Description

A cabinet made in the 1950s by UMS Pastoe in Holland. The piece was designed by Cees Braakman (1917-1995). He was manager and design director at Pastoe from 1945 to 1978. After WW2 he went to the USA and was inspired by Herman Miller and Charles and Ray Eames whose influence is noticable in many of his iconic designs.
The cabinet is made from golden oak and the top is well figured. There is only one noticable blemish on thr top surface (see picture) There is a moulded birch ply drawer in the top above a 2 door cupboard which has a shelf.The front edge of the drawer shows signs of use if you look closely but there are no noticable blemishes.
