A lovely and increasingly rare example of a large 1920's French BOUDOIR DOLL.

These long-limbed dolls were a huge fad among the Flappers of the 1920's who dressed them up in finery and often carried them when they went out!

Stuffed cloth body and head with composite/bisque? lower arms and legs. Hand painted facial features, hairstyle of the period and diamonte necklace. She is dressed in a stunning original black and grey silk dress. Overall height ~ 870mm!
