Originally painted in there day,here it is stripped back without use of chemicals ,ready to be repainted or left as seen. Incorporating bows and swags and a pair of cartouche ,illustrating Athena and her owl,the other just visible as priest making offerings of incense. This is very Adam in style .DateVictorian

ConditionStripped by hand painfully,with no finish yet applied .no chemicals used.gesso is 97percent tight.
